Catholic bishop hates democrats

In a time when church leaders typically call for support of our troops, police men (they conveniently omit women at my church) and our firefighters and first responders, it comes as no surprise that the backwards thinking leaders of the Catholic church would denounce democrats as a whole.

Bishop Thomas George Doran, of Rockford, Illinois, issued a scathing denouncement of the seven 'sacraments' which our nation's democratic party supposedly stand for. The seven he listed were "abortion, buggery, contraception, divorce, euthanasia, feminism of the radical type and genetic experimentation and mutilation."

The bishop furthered his name-calling by stating that the democratic party is nearly the same as Germany's Nazi party of the early 1940's stating that democrats his allowed nearly 40 million lives to never see the light of day by the supreme court's stance allowing abortion since the 1970s.

The backwoods bishop ended his unhinged tirade by stating that anyone believing in the seven democratic 'sacraments' would be judged by flames. This is the type of person our nation's republican party would stand firmly behind as the military burned boxes of condoms and forced unhappy couples to stay in abusive relationships. After all, there are reasons for contraception and divorce.

i find it particularly rich to be called a nazi- when it's fascists like that so-called man of the cloth who are the real problem. i guess i'd rather be that kind of nazi- standing up for the rights of the downtrodden- than the racist, mysogynistic bigots that these so-called christians are. proud to be an independent democrat!
