Minnesota apple update

According to a recent update of the sign at Jim's Apple Orchard south of Shakopee, MN on US Hwy. 169 "Apples are nearly the size of apples". Ironic, huh?

In case you have the weekend free, the orachard (and all around rural autumn produce experience) opens Saturday and stays open through Halloween. The fence is littered with signs proclaiming the plethora of goodness that abounds inside their doors. From candies to squash to pies, they have it.

So, pony up the fifty bucks for a tank of gas, load the kids in the Chevy Tahoe and brave the highway before it clogs with Minnesota Renaissance Festival traffic and get your fall goodness now or you'll be waiting until October before the traffic nightmare dies down.
