How to offend funeral attendees

In an effort to further politicize even the death of some people, yesterday at Coretta Scott King's funeral, former president Jimmy Carter used the captive audience to rally the masses. Of course Carter wasn't the only one to participate in the partisan boobery

This sort of action, regardless of the party riling up the attendees, is ludicrous. Why does everything that happens need to be bogged down in politics? While Carter is renowned for his humanitarian efforts after his presidency, he needs to realize where he is speaking. A gathering for a deceased individual isn't the place to throw a political rally. Never has been, never will be.

Give it up, folks. Leave you damned political hackery to places where you can screen your audience and feed them hot dogs and Van Kamp's Baked Beans for $10,000 per plate. You know whom I am speaking of...
