Jib Jab jabs at 2-0-5

A 2005 year end wrap-up just wouldn't be complete without mentioning Jib Jab. It's the comedic duo that spun an internet short film about the 2004 election and this time around the brothers at Jib Jab have a two-minute recap of President Bush singing, to the tune of Auld Lang Syne, the key events that made the news in 2005 in a film clevelry titled '2-0-5'.

Jib Jab covers everything from the collapse of industrial America and the outsourcing of jobs to India to the president's very own diving approval rating. The short film also features the president singing about the troubles of his friends and supporters such as karl Rove, Scooter Libby and Tom DeLay.

Not to leave anything out, Jib Jab also jabs at the prospect of drilling for oil in Alaska and the skyrocketing oil company profits as well as spitting out a sentence (verse) containing mention of hurricane Katrina, FEMA, Gitmo and the Avian Flu.

All told, Jib Jab's creative geniuses did more in two minutes than the media has done in twelve months.
