Feel free to form your own opinions

Radio talk show hosts are typically men who have egos which wouldn't fit in the Metrodome, even if you were to take out all the lovely blue hardback seating.

In an era when everyone has an opinion and anyone, myself included, wih access to a computer can start up somethng called a blog (new term to me, a little help, please) and spout off with ther maniacal rantings and ravings, talk show hosts are jumping on the bandwagon right along side Joe Citizen.

Apparently, the airwaves (supposedly public property) just aren't big enough to contain the bloated egos of Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly. A columnist/reporter/blogger and the San Jose Mercury News has also picked up on the trend that the overly self-important radio/TV talk show hosts think that their opinions about subjects actually make a difference.

As former Minnesota Vikings coach Dennis Green once said "What's great about America is everyone has an opinion and what's also great is you don't hafta listen."

Maybe we'd all be better off if we simply stopped listening to the gassy windbags which clutter America's AM radio dials and their rehashed crap which is shown on the FOX News Channel. We'd be a better country for it.
