Brownie's pig-headedness shines through

Unlike the man (Bush) who handed Captain Incompetent (former FEMA Director Mike Brown) his job, 'Brownie' is unaware of the meaning of responsibility by, today, passing the buck to the obviously unprepared local government of Louisiana and New Orleans.

Even more troubling than his lack of responsibility stemming from a job which he was unqualified for is the fact that, even after he resigned, our nation's leaders have opted to keep him on the FEMA payroll. As I predicted shortly after he resigned, possibly before, he is being paid a hefty sum allowing him to keep his current standard of living.

Brown is simply a man who is uneducated in the meaning of a few words of the English language.

Take, for instance, resign:
To give up (a position, for example), especially by formal notification.
and responsibility:
Something for which one is responsible; a duty, obligation, or burden.

My personal take on the word 'resign' or 'resignation' is to sever ties with an employer, relinquishing all salary from that point forward with the exception of vacation pay if one leaves the position in a fashion allowing the employer appropriate notification.

Don't even get me started on his lack of responsibility -- especially after the fact that the most irresponsible man in the country (prior to this) took the lead and admitted fault in the handling of situations after the landfall of Hurricane Katrina.
