Ferguson replaces Kilborn

So, a few months after Craig Kilborn left his post at the desk of CBS late night snow, 'The Late Late Show', his replacement has been announced. Picked from a handful of weekly replacement hosts since around the beginning of September, former sitcom and standup star Craig Ferguson of Scotland is the man for the job.

His career was marked by being one of England's top standup comics in the early 1990's and recently played boss Nigel Wick on 'The Drew Carey Show' on ABC which ended its run this summer. The 45-year-old starts as full-time host soon. Stay tuned to CBS at 11:37 PM (CT) to see if he can keep people laughing the way he had his soon-to-be competition, Conan O'Brien, in tears during a recent appearance on the NBC late night program.
