It's a turning point

Slate has something today which, being only a pre-election prediction, narrowly calls the November 2 election for Kerry-Edwards.

Mudslinging aside in the national scene, the local battle in the Twin Cities area for a US Congress seat between Mark Kennedy (R) and Patti Wetterling (D), mother of abducted child Jacob Wetterling, is getting ugly.

The potentially libelous ads paid for by the Republican National Committee continue to run on the local TV stations with Kennedy claiming he had no input on the ads.

I've seen the ads and if these ads with a pile of quotes taken out of context really sway people to NOT vote for Wetterling then Minnesotans are truly slow-minded and easily confused.
