Bush's volunteering was forced community service

"We didn't know what kind of trouble he'd been in, only that he'd done something that required him to put in the time," said Althia Turner, White's administrative assistant.

A quote from one of former Houston Oilers tight end John White's assistants tells the story.

Bush, in 2000, had claimed that it was passionate conservatism that led him to volunteer time to help inner-city program Professional United Leadership League in Houston, Texas.

"John said he was doing a favor for George's father because an arrangement had to be made for the son to be there," said Willie Frazier, also a former player for the Houston Oilers and a P.U.L.L. summer volunteer in 1973.

Bush even went as far as showing a video at the 2000 Republican National COnvention bragging about his community service work.

It is so shameful that he would lie to cover up the truth about why he was really there. Read the link above to uncover the entire story.

Has anyone seen the French Connection ad about John Kerry that some one put out? I’m really outraged by it! Who ever made it must really dislike him. Here’s a link to the website that it appears on. It’s on the front page of the site.
